How much would you sell them for

I have 76 pairs of shoes…getting rid of half of them today !

December 2023. I have 4 pairs of shoes and 4 purses. I toss, recycle, or give away 25 items each day. Yesterday's pile was books and magazines to the library. Animal shelter and e-recycling are in the car. Tina, Al's wife

300 shoes? I have only 10 shoes. And I still think its a mess. LOL. Whenever I get new pairs, I keep it for a year. If I like it , I give away the old one. If I still dont wear it after a year, I donate it.

I use to have soooo much stuff but its because i learned i have a shopping addiction i like the thrill of seeing new things taking them home popping the tag and thinking of all the ways i can wear it. But something i started doing to declutter often is getting ride of atleat 3/4 items per item i buy (dont judge 😢) yes thats a ratio I use. But i find i just have favorite pieces i just go to. This year im really wearing my my clothes and making content to inspire. But then give it away or resell really unique and luxury items

It's an improvement, no doubt, but my OCD self is going nuts wanting to dig in and color code and/or evenly fold everything and get some matching hangers in there. Just a tip... I've found ultra slim velvet hangers are not only easier on your clothes and keep them on the hanger and off the floor, but aren't very expensive at all if you order on the Walmart app and do a pick up (if able. If not, they do ship).. and it's like $10 for a 30 pack. Which is only 30 cents a hanger. So worth it. If you have a large closet, it does get prices. I buy in them batches of 2-3 and I've now transitioned my three closets to fully velvet hangers and I can fit much more in the closets while still looking nice.

One rule I’m going to go with moving forward, If I purchase a dress, another one has to go to donation. I refuse to have useless clothes from 10 years ago or clothes that I don’t even wear anymore 🤦🏽‍♀️

Left an abusive spouse. He kept all my clothes. I started over and have a lot less stuff. Easier to organize

How can u remember where everything is- depression- being organised is a life changer- game changer- SO important Very Glad this is now sorted- wish lady well. Got to start from somewhere- admitting there is a problem is very hard-

Does anyone else cringe at the amount of clothes and then how poorly they were cared for? This kind of disposable products is killing the planet and it illustrates the unequal distribution of wealth.

It would have been better to do a serious declutter of each category. The closet looks better, but it is still too cluttered. It looks like a store. There is no room for new items; it's obvious that the young lady enjoys shopping. Folding the boots over is a bad idea. I would store bed linens and towels in a linen closet. Sweaters should be folded and stored in drawers, if possible. If she donated half of her items, her closet would look so much better.
